Deep Hive Body for Bee Hives 10-Frame

10-Frame Deep Hive Body has finger joints and has pre-drilled nail holes for ease of assembly. You may purchase unassembled or assembled. Frames and foundation sold separately. Don't have time to paint, we are happy to paint for you. Checkout our painted hive body here.

The hive body is also referred to a as brood chamber or simply, deep. Traditionally it is used as the the bottom brood box and often is combined with a second hive body for a double deep brood chamber. We would caution you to the weight of these boxes when full of bees and honey. They get heavy, 80-100 pounds!

Commercial grade has tight knots, small pitch pockets & small, tight cracks.

Select grade has no knots or cracks.
