The small hive beetle is one of the most bothersome pest of the honey bee. And the Freeman Bottom Board is one of most effective tools for fighting the small hive beetle. Constructed of cypress for longevity.
Fill plastic tray with oil, and slide into place. Once the beetle falls through the screen, it drowns in the oil.
Trays are included with the purchase of the bottom board. Replacement trays available for purchase.
